Diarrhoea is loose & frequent evacuation of the bowel whereas dysentery is liquid or semisolid stools mixed with mucus & blood & is mostly associated with colicky pain in abdomen. It is characterized by inflammation of the bowl.

During symptoms like loose and waterly stool with gripping pain in abdomen, mucus in stool and sometimes blood also, one has to strain more to pass the stool which leads to inflammation. At such time digestive action of the ingredients present in Kutajadi digests all undigested matter, stop loose motions, bleeding and even mucus passing through stool.
It reduces inflammation ie. swelling of intestinal flora & gives strength to intestine and improves digestion which prevents re-occurence of the disease
